Sangeet

Sangeet

The Sangeet Ceremony is a party scheduled the evening before the formal wedding. Kerala has strict rules that force parties to close at 11pm, so we will be starting early at 6:30 pm on December 22nd.

Join in the dancing and the singing (most of it will be watchable, we promise!).

There will also be a short Kathakali, and Kalaripayattu show for added flavour. It's a celebration of the union of families, so be prepared to show us your moves!

The Wedding

The Wedding

South Indian weddings, especially in Kerala, are day weddings .

We will have a not so traditional South Indian wedding on the banks of the Arabian sea. A Tamilian bride, marrying a Konkani/Malayali groom in a ceremony blending the rich spices and flavours of these cultures.

Join us in blessing the couple as they start their lives together. The timing of the ceremony will be finalized soon. Dress in light, and airy fabrics as the weather in Kerala, even in winter, can get a little hot and humid

Cocktail Dinner

After Wedding Cocktails, Dinner & Dance

Once the formal events are over it’s time to kick off the fun and frolic, and get your dancing shoes on.

There will be a sunset cruise starting at 5pm, after which we will do a quick walking tour of Matancherry, followed by dinners, drinks, and dancing! (I said drinks didn’t I ?)

You may also be able to take in the sights and shopping at Jew Town, before the party.
